ISO 9001, ISO 14001 AND ISO 18001 As
LJJ Ltd has grown in size so has its commitment to give the client a high
quality service whilst maintaining its competitiveness within the industry.
To achieve both and at the same time raise LJJ Ltd profile the management
recognised that the foundation of any company is a robust management system,
with this in mind they embarked on obtaining certification to ISO9001 and
following the audit obtained full accreditation on 17th December 2008.It is envisaged that this accreditation will increase not only LJJ Ltd market share within the industry but will improve profitability, corporate image and increase customer satisfaction. Whilst carrying out the audit for the ISO9001 quality management system, it became immediately apparent that this was also the first step to a wide range of standards including ISO14001 for environmental management and ISO18001 for health and safety. The management after reviewing the various options had the foresight to action the implementation of both these recognised industry standards and pressed forward with the arduous task of obtaining full accreditation to ISO14001 and ISO18001, this went very smoothly and again full accreditation was obtained on 17th December 2008. To ensure that these ISO standards are actioned and maintained at the highest level the appropriate committees were set up, these committees meet six monthly and ensure any improvements or new legislation is actioned and the details communicated to the staff, sub-contractors and clients as appropriate. |
