This design and build project included the upgrade of
the utility services and the installation of a new 800KVA single phase power
supply.
Heating was generated by low pressure gas boilers with an under floor heating
system installed within the main retail area and radiators installed in
the office area.
A fully automated ventilation system was installed throughout the retail/greenhouse
area which was controlled via zone mounted controller and a roof mounted
rain/wind weather station. This system formed part of the fire strategy
and the vents automatically open in the event of a fire to give passive
smoke extraction.
An automatic shading system was also installed below all areas of roof which
were constructed in glass to give plants/flowers protection from direct
sunlight. |
